ST. CHARLES PARISH
DRUG DROP-OFF BOX

Sergeant Jenni Barrette, Public Information Office with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office reminds residents of the DRUG DROP-OFF BOX.

It is located in the the reception area of our headquarters building, 260 Judge Edward Dufresne, Luling.
You may bring old prescriptions during regular business hours all year long.

Benefits of utilizing this Drug Drop-Off Box:

There are several benefits to disposing of unwanted medication or medications that are no longer needed:

-You don't want a child to get hold of any medication that could harm them.

-You don't want another family member accidentally taking the wrong medication.

-You don't want to take any medication that has expired, which may cause an adverse reaction.

-You don't want or have anyone else mistakenly take a medication that could cause an adverse reaction if taken with another type of medicine.

-You don't want to flush them as it enters the water system.
